Kamay ni Hesus Church: Miracle Healing Place

At the Kamay ni Hesus Healing Center, in Lucban, Quezon, there is the church where miraculous healing takes place through Father Joseph Faller, a Catholic priest who found out that he was tasked by God to heal the sick. The church is supposed to be a place of peace and healing; a haven of rest for those in need. Although small, the church is only a part of the larger healing complex that includes a park with a replica of Noah's Ark, and a grotto at the top of a hill where the faithful can pass through the Stations of the Cross.

Shown here are the interior and exterior of the church. The paintings behind the altar are inspired by religious movies like The Ten Commandments starring Charlton Heston as Moses. The church is surrounded by gardens which inspire meditation, prayer, and introspection.Interestingly, the facade of the church faces a wall. It is the side entrance that is used by visitors, the front of which is a concrete pavement with the names and thanks of people who have found blessings through Father Faller and the Kamay ni Hesus Healing Center.

Kamayan sa Palaisdaan Restaurant - A Treat by the Road

In Tayabas, Quezon, in the Philippines, there is a restaurant by the roadside called Kamayan sa Palaisdaan (Hand eating at the Fish Ponds). It is a popular treat to many motorists travelling to and from Lucban where the Kamay ni Hesus Healing Center by Father Faller is located. The restaurant serves traditional Filipino food and it's specialty, which practically everyone orders, is crispy fried lechon sa kawali. Other dishes are also a must to order if you are in the mood for a truly Filipino dining experience.

It's open day and night and in the morning, guests are treated to its quaint interior with tables fashioned from antique sewing machines (top). There are also sculptures around the dining area that will surely get diners' attention. Near the entrance is a peeing boy fountain statue (left) that will surely make you smile with amusement with its funny expression. There's also a wooden crocodile hidden underneath some shrubs; there's also a happy buddha staue in a corner of the stage. Of course, there are the floating restaurant tables (above) on water teeming with fish.In the evenings, restaurant guests can enjoy the performances of live bands.

From the parking lot, the dining area is accessible from stairs or a ramp for the eldery. A wheelchair is available for those in need, although convenient, the chair still has to go through a gravelly area to get to the ramp, and it can be quite a challenge pushing the wheelchair.

Rizal is one big place. It's not exaclty a province separate from Metro Manila, since a big part of it is still well within the urban sprawl of the metropolis, but the fringes are pretty much rural. You will need a powerful engine to get to the top since there is a very steep but brief climb after you pass the guardhouse. There are two swimming pools (one small; another an infinity-type) and quaint cottages, most of which have great views. It's ideal for weekend trips with the family and corporate trainings, workshops, seminars, and team-building. The management is courteous and will go out of their way to help out clients with their needs.

The resort has facilities for indoor sports like darts, table tennis, and billiards in the game room. Conference rooms are convenient and spacious and are a short walk to the dining area where clients get treated to packaged European-style meals (below). There is also a videoke bar to release your hidden singing talents. When it rains, it pays to be careful when walking on tiled steps and the mud, both of which can get very slippery.

Noah's Ark Attracts Tourists in Lucban Quezon

There's a concrete replica of Noah's Ark in Lucban, Quezon, in The Philippines. It's part of the Kamay ni Hesus Healing Center of Father Joey Faller, a Catholic healing priest who found his true calling in life as a servant of God after he discovered that he can heal people of many illnesses. After an accident which caused the last finger of one of his hands to curl permanently, he set out to fulfill his destiny to heal people, and eventually established the Center with a church and Bible-themed park for those in search of healing through God.

The Ark of Noah is just one of the many attractions of the Kamay ni Hesus Healing Center, with the main one being the Grotto with the 50-foot monument of Jesus Christ at the top of a hill. Noah's Ark is really a building with an exterior made to resemble the ancient boat where Noah's family took refuge from the Great Flood along with pairs of animals. At the time these photos were taken, it was still under construction.
